Will LiftLoc prevent my boat from being stolen?
LiftLoc provides great stability and keeps your boat from swaying. The I-beam supports the weight of the boat. It proides a solid base rather than being suspended by cables, eliminating swing.
LiftLoc is meant to be a theft-deterrant. It would be very time-intensive to get the boat off the lift. Everything is tied together: the boat sits on the bunk, the bunk on the I-bean, which in turn rests on the secondary block lift I-beam, which are held by patent-pending brackets that are through-bolted into the pilings. There really isn't any way to lower the boat except in the manner in which intended.
In our opinion, LiftLoc is the ultimate anti-theft device, but please do not rely on Lift-Loc alone. We recommend you turn power off to your lift from the breaker box inside your home, and any other precautions you may have.
LiftLoc is very simple anyone can use it.
First the boat is lifted just above the brackets. Then the I-beams with rollers are pushed into place, and the boat is lowered down until supported by the brackets. Locks finally secure the beams to the brackets. The boat can not be lowered into the water unless the steps are reversed.

How will LiftLoc prevent my boat from swaying?
I don't have a walkway to the other side of my boat. How can I reach the other I-beam?
It takes about a minute to secure your boat using LiftLoc.
Each I-beam is supported by four rollers, wich takes the difficulty out of engaging or dis-engaging them. There is a pull-bar connected to the second I-beam so you can pull to release, or push to engage, right from your dock.
